Most of the brands we admire weren't built by a system. They were built by a person, with a point of view, who refused to dilute it.
Iris Vega is an independent creative director working with founders and second‑stage companies on identity systems, art direction, and type. Her studio operates between Mexico City and New York.
Before going independent she led brand at Pentagram's New York office and design at Mailchimp, and has art‑directed campaigns for The New York Times Magazine, Pirelli, and Aesop.
Her work has been recognized by D&AD, the Type Directors Club, and Brand New, and exhibited at the AIGA gallery in New York and the Museo Jumex in Mexico City.
